I think it's so unfortunate that people all have this tendency to want to be right, faultless, and flawless to the extent that they cannot argue from a place of honesty; instead, conversations tend to devolve into a double-down of talking points carefully crafted to protect and preserve their egos.
So I'll be honest. I think white people and Asian people (exempting Southeast Asians) deserve to be discriminated against. Discrimination is not, on its face, an inherently bad action. It's objectively bad when used as a mechanism to oppress others. However, when used to debase those very same oppressors, it becomes a tool for good.
It reinforces a cultural understanding that whites and asians are inherently superior. It increases racial animosity, inherently segregated along racial and ethnic lines, and serves only to create a "upper" class among the targeted ethnic group.
It's just bad policy.
