Curious where our resident pardians fall on the spectrum. Ranging from thinking masks are stupid and unnecessary to thinking it's vital for our survivial.

I for one bought a 100pack of gloves/masks a while ago and use it regularly when out and about. I think I'd probably survive getting infected myself but why take the chance? Also there are elderly family members I don't want to put at risk.

I wear a full level A hazmat suit with SCBA and radio and only interact with people using a remote claw apparatus I pull around in a cart. When I return home, I have to pass through a series of decontamination rooms

Wear a mask when going into stores & other indoor establishments, almost never outside.

Wearing it outside when it's 80+ is really uncomfortable & vast majority of people in my city don't wear one outside. Went to the beach a few day ago and out of like 500 people there were a total of like 2 people wearing masks.

I also think people wearing them in their own cars are complete dunces.

People are complete idiots and they're hiding in their houses like its the purge or theyre saying if they wear a mask theyre a slave. That is the spectrum and a complete abatement of intelligence.

I carry one. If I'm in a crowded area i throw it on, like checking out at the grocery. If im alone in a store and nobody is around me and I'm not under imminent risk of being spit in by ill appearing people I'm not going to continue chafing my ears.

I wear a mask and googles at work when I'm in patient facing areas but when I'm at my station I'm not wearing it even through the social workers and nurse practitioners are rubbing elbows more or less. But we all take our temp etc. One of my RN friends is currently "the sickest he has ever felt". Patients are usually tested 2-3 times before they get to me so I'm honestly very safe in the hospital.

I haven't been going out to restaurants...it just hasn't occurred to me to sit and eat somewhere recently. I carry hand sanitizer. From what i understand this illness is more contagious than the flu and I've had that a couple times. I see people wearing masks alone in their car and i lol.

We should only quarantine sick people and do it through incentive and not force.

No mask generally, only in places where I can't avoid being close/in contact with strangers (public transport among others).

I have stopped shaking hands in professional settings, feels very weird. It's almost a reflex with how much it's ingrained into my habits.

Yes, any time I get out of the car.

I have to wear one 8 hours a day at work, and pretty much all stores in my area require one for entry. The only place I didn't wear one was at the park where I had 30+ft between myself and anybody else.
