Well a real coup would be great for them. Chavistic socialism did well until Chavistic socialism died with Chavis. He had the cult of personality. He is a modern Juan Peron, someone after your own heart.

This seems more like some PR stunt by Maduro to say "look! i told you the Americans are trying to attack us!"

The two americans caught are saying outlandish things...working for DEA, Trump sent us, lol. They were wearing US flags. Totally unprofessional. At least they are identifiable as soldiers and protected by the Geneva Convention probably...as in they weren't in civilian clothing doing military stuff....that's the big no no.
