Today marks the 50th anniversary of the Kent State massacre, where soldiers equipped with "military-grade" semi-automatic M1 Garand rifles mowed down school children. I think it's high time we took those weapons away from them!

So take, for example, a person who was sent to boot camp at age 18 and trained to follow orders without question. Is that the kind of person who you want to be equipped with military grade weapons?
