seems extremely odd.

depsarately needs different forums, im sure there's already a forum for christians so perhaps - "religion and philosophy" is much needed

politics 2020 really has nothing to do with philosophy, as much as it should

neither are religion or philosophy, theocracy is specifically political religion, and honestly I'm not totally aware of what regression means in politics, it must mean going back to old ways as opposed to creating new. It's hard for anyone to call themselves a progressive when it means "I'm progressing down this specific path". Same with regressive.

This is philosophy, not politics 2020, which is just memes

It's a subforum for 2 types of things. It is not trying to imply that they are the same thing.

For example, Football and Rugby are 2 different things, but they share a d2jsp subforum. Same with Movies and TV Shows.

Yep. But i think his issue is the idea that they are radically different things.
Football and Rugby are similar sports. A discussion of Christianity for example is radically different than arguing over which politician should rule over us.

However, Statism is a religion so I would say they are not as far off as some would believe. B)

We have people HERE who favor a strongly christian government, with laws forbidding abortion, going forward for women rights limitation, and eventually for a devastating foreign policy (ie: Bush)

This is mostly falling under populism, authoritarianism, and so on derail into a Theocracy.

tank you

Religions are political organizations.

Arguing over distribution of power in either case.

We can call the forum political and religious ideology then. Both are dogmatic. People worship the free market or marxism like religions. Marxism is as comprehensive of a worldview as christianity. Free market fundementalism is faith based and irrational like other fundamentalisms.

Old gods vs new gods.
