While you're bitchin about cap`n tangerine, and nothing will ever happen, they're literally pointing out that you have no say in what turd you get to vote for. Or do you honestly believe Hillary won fair and square last time? Do any of you have thoughts?

Yes the popular wife of a popular president beat an atheistic geriatric Jewish socialist in a primary in the US four years ago. Yes the DNC had a preference and there was no way Sanders could win with Clinton winning Ohio and other midwest states she ultimate lost in the general election, and her superior super delegate count.

Clinton couldn't fill up a book store. Sanders could fill a stadium. It was rigged.

When I voted for her in the general election i was pinching my nose. But an unexcited vote is as potent as an excited vote.

yeah it is very much shaping up for this. no need to do a grueling primary campaign she can swoop in around late May/early June and save all her energy running another #nevertrump campaign

Yep, they gotta keep her and her body double fresh for the main race against Trump.

I couldn't even fathom Trump v. HRC 2.0....

The fabric of our society might actually tear.

i stopped feeling sorry for bernie when he rolled over for HRC.

like sure, HRC ended up losing, and she needed his "help" on the campaign trail.

but at the time everyone outside of the internal Trump camp thought HRC had it all locked up. so why make yourself into a cuck to help someone who had like a 98% chance to win?

I'd still like any diehard Bernie supporter to explain to me why he lied to his supporters for a year, by omission or directly, covering up Hillary's JFA.
We know that Hillary Clinton's JFA gave her total control over the DNC party apparatus. All staffing, strategy, releases, research, funding, scheduling, etc etc- Hillary Clinton was micromanaging it all and the DNC was nothing but her puppet. And we know that Bernie Sanders knew about this as early as September 2016, after the primary, before the general election, when Donna Brazile called him and told him all about it. And for a full year, silence. Even as the public debate raged over whether the primary was rigged, Bernie who knew that it was rigged, stayed silent. And even after Hillary Clinton lost, Bernie stayed silent. We only learned about the JFA a full year later when Donna Brazile went public to Politico about it.

Even if we pretended that Bernie only kept it hush hush because he wanted Hillary to win as a cynical pragmatist despite knowing he'd been cheated- a betrayal of his all purported ideals and his supporters- it still wouldn't explain why he kept this secret after the election was done.

Easy to explain: he knew that he wanted to run again in 2020, and that he'd need some level of support, or at least tolerance, from the DNC apparatus to have any chance of succeeding. Had he thrown the party under the bus here, he'd have pissed off too many people and killed his 2020 run before it even began.
