Not sure how it could end up if Amazon, Google, Facebook etc ... decide to strongly ally together at some point. They could fund to a new company, maybe they already did or are discussing about it.

Ms Warren said: “Today’s big tech companies have too much power — too much power over our economy, our society, and our democracy. They’ve bulldozed competition, used our private information for profit, and tilted the playing field against everyone else. And in the process, they have hurt small businesses and stifled innovation.”
She added: “That’s why my administration will make big, structural changes to the tech sector to promote more competition — including breaking up Amazon, Facebook, and Google.”

I'm more likely to support this position, even if a "break up" is not reached it's a good start to negotiate some regulations, taxes, or slowing down the tracking.

It's easy to say "you can use another product/website", but what if these actually sucks or are limited because of the giants, today or tomorrow.

Wow! It seems Warren really doesn't want to be elected president. I understand what she's saying about antitrust laws, but damn... those companies ain't poodles, they are rottweilers.

/e Maybe she should get elected first... THEN go on about breaking up the big three. Telling the big three ahead of time, seems kind of foolhardy.

We passed the point of no return long ago. Tech giants are never gonna have the sherman antitrust act applies to them.

perfectly illustrates how broken the american system is: if you fight big corporations and wall street, by proposing steps and policies to protect consumer rights (no matter which party they support btw), and that will HURT your chances to get elected (i don't even disagree with your assessment there, just pointing out how insane it is), you know something went massively wrong at some point.

legalised bribery should be everyone's #1 enemy, as it has massive implications concerning literally every other single issue, but for some reason the overwhelming majority of republicans don't realise it.

I think it's very premature to say Warren is fked. Bernie's heart problem, while minor, is going to tank his electability. Biden is not in a good place right now... he has nothing going for him other than black voter support he's managed to hang on to for now. Warren 2020 🤑
