The complainant, Jonathan Yaniv, now going by the name Jessica Yaniv, had been a prominent "transgender rights activist" who ran a facebook page called 'TrustedNerd' where he reviewed sex toys among other things, and had connections with some high profile figures like twitter's cofounder. With the reporting ban lifted, a whole slew of accounts have come forward about how Jonathan Yaniv has been a pedophile and sexual predator who creeps on young girls. He's got a particular fetish for tampons and pads and was known to creep on 12-14 year old girls using online chat apps where he lied about his age and gender identity before asking 12 year old girls on dates, trying to show them child porn, etc. He said (to girls under 18) that he wants to have sex with girls under age 18 because they'd be tighter and dropped his pretense of being a tranny and called himself male while creeping on him- now that he's become a public figure and changed his name to Jessica, several girls have come forward with chat logs and screenshots. And just last week, he filed a request with the city to host a topless pool party for ages 12+, where guardians and caretakers would be prohibited.
Extremely active on twitter, the Ursula lookalike's story has been only picking up steam. Free speech activist Lindsay Shepherd was banned from twitter after calling him an "ugly fat man" after he mocked her for having a septate uterus reproductive disorder, feminist Meghan Murphy was banned from twitter after 'misgendering him' by simply posting 'yeah it's him', and one of his 14 year old victims has filed an official child exploitation report, and he just today testified at the B.C. Human Rights tribunal as part of the ongoing case against the waxing salons. One Brazilian immigrant was forced to close down her waxing salon operation she ran out of her home due to the complaint, while the defense lawyers dug up plenty of old facebook posts in which Yaniv was racist towards immigrants, including posts where he called indian immigrants “curry shoving crapheads”. The details from the trial also reveal how he was explicit in his demands that they handled his penis, not just wax the balls, and how one immigrant targeted by him is a Sikh woman who is forbidden by religion from touching a man other than her husband- Yaniv also had facebook posts calling for immigration checkpoints in Sikh neighbhorhoods. Indeed it appears that he was specifically targeting immigrant communities as a way to weaponize his fake gender identity against them. The salons are unlikely to reclaim legal fees in the $20-30k range even if they win the case, and its believed that several salons have already paid him thousands of dollars in settlement to avoid the legal fees. In particular, Yaniv has filed many complaints against different salons and withdrawn complaints against the ones that already retained legal counsel while actively pursuing those who couldn't fight back.
