Im glad Luke from "WeAreChange" is reporting the truth about the tragedy the venezuelan people are suffering. In the following video Luke interviews a guy who has been living in Colombia for a while now and is seeing himself the big exodus of venezuelans escaping to Colombia and other south american countries. Luke himself has been in Venezuela many times and spoken with venezuelans and knows first hand whats going on there. And I say "there" because I left Venezuela a month and a half ago because at this point is now impossible to continue having a normal life there:
    -Scarcity of food.
-2 or 3 hours (kilometers of lines of cars) waiting to fill your car with gas because most gas stations dont have gas (so they are closed) or those who do have gas dont have electric power (so they are temporarily closed), so those stations WITH gas and WITH power are a few. Cross your fingers that the gas station you have been spending time waiting in line doesnt get the power cut, otherwise those 2 or 3 hours would have been in vain.
-Public transport collapsed. Lack of supplies to repair buses, cars, etc have paralized over 90% of the public transportation.
-4 to 6 to 10 hours of electric power cuts daily.
-No cash, so 99% of the transfer of money is digital BUT internet and telecomunications are of very bad quality. VERY BAD QUALITY. So you can spend hours and days without internet or cell phone connection. So even transfering money is a pain in the ass.
-Hospitals and clinics no longer have supplies to cure and save people. Hundreds and thounsands of newborn babies die of contamination.
-Hundred and thousands of kids and old people are dying of malnutrition. Its common to see entire families in garbage zones, searching in the big contaminated garbage zones for food or whatever they can find to eat. Only to then die of diarrea or a bacteria (contamination) inside their bodies.
-If you have money, you can buy food but its more expensive than in a first world country, and its pointless to buy big quantities of chicken or meat because it will be damaged due to the long hours without electric power, so if you have money you have to buy in small quantities that you will use for today and tomorrow.
-Lack of water supply in most places, and those who do get the water supply receive it brown or contaminated.
    -Etc Etc Etc.

The only thing I disagree in the video is that they say 2 or 3 millions have left. Its more like 5 to 6 millions and growing (from a country that used to have 30 million in its peak). Also, the sanctions are mostly against the narcos in the government, the economic disaster started way before the USA gave a fuck about what was happening in Venezuela. It was Chavez with his cuban socialist policies that started the destruction of Venezuela.

What its said in the video is 100% true. 90% of the young people from 17 to 40 are leaving. The city I used to live in which was the second biggest in Venezuela, called Maracaibo (capital of the "oil state" Zulia, which is no more an oil state because the oil fields collapsed due to lack of maintenance), is becoming a ghost town. It used to have around 4 to 5 million people (the city) in its best days 20 years ago, commerce was growing and there was prosperity (20 years ago), nowadays its looking more like a ghost town. I can say with total accuracy at this point that 95% of the people I knew in Maracaibo (family and friends) have already left Venezuela and the remaining are planning to leave in the following 3 to 6 months, with exception of the very old (60+ years old are staying in the socialist hell hole).

In regards of the political situation, we are fucked. Period. The narco-tyranny won with the help of the cuban communists, the expansionist and savages russians and chinese. There will be no invasion, no intervention, no nothing. The situation in Venezuela is impossible to solve. The narco-dictatorship allowed colombian guerilla ELN, mafias, russians and chinese to take over the country (plus the armed thugs they control and the venezuelan armed forces who are controlled by drug lords in the high command). The Colombian government and the brazilian government dont want to get involved in that shitshow and the americans (Trump the only one with balls who is trying to force a change in Venezuela) cant do it alone. So there will not be an invasion.

All the brave civilians and military members who had the balls to rise up against the dictatorship most of them were killed, captured (and then tortured to death in the cells), and the few alive in clandestinity are trying to escape. The cubans and russians have helped a lot the Maduro murderous dictatorship providing agents (by the cubans) and intelligence resources (by the russians) and a lot of financing/funds (by the chinese), basically limitless funding to the Maduro narco-dictatorship. There is no way to beat these beasts only by ourselves, they have more resources and experience in these things, especially the russians (former Soviet Union, one of the most criminal murderous repressive empires that have ever existed in history). By the time Trump got into office it was too late. Weak-retard Obama and dumbass Bush Jr let the communist cancer grow in south america, although we venezuelans are the main people to blame for allowing it to grow in the first place, but when cubans, colombian guerilla, russians and chinese got involved many years ago, it stopped being a venezuelan problem.

Notice many socialist retards in the comments section of that video are telling Luke that he should listen to "Abby Martin" that disgusting witch lier from that fake news channel called Russia Today, where they vomit lies after lies of Putin's (the midget war criminal) lies. Ironically Luke has been in Venezuela, Abby the BS witch hasnt. So what would Abby the witch know about Venezuela?. All her reports are BS.

At this point the hatred we venezuelans have against socialism or marxism or communism or anything related to that dirty ideology is of such big proportions that you better dont say good things about socialism in front of venezuelans or you will most likely end up in hospital beaten down. There are no middle grounds or grey areas here. Either you are a socialist scum in our eyes or you are not. Very much like happened in the eastern european countries after being under communism for 45+ years. If socialism falls in the future in Cuba and Venezuela (and now Nicaragua another murderous regime there), you can bet we will all be anti-socialism for the next 5 generations at least.

Like I said before, I left Venezuela, moved to Chile. It was impossible to continue living there.

F.... CHAVEZ!
F.... MADURO!
F.... SOCIALISM/MARXISM/COMMUNISM!

Im glad Chavez suffered a lot on his last months. The pig deserved it.

Really powerful case study on the impact of socialist economic policy.

Strangle the viability of your national oil company, redistribute wealth for consumption, neglect investment.

Is it safe to assume a large portion of Venezuelas citizens voted this?

It amazes me how random people on the internet are better journalists than the main networks.

Listening to interviews of anyone in Venezuela is heartbreaking.

Blame the United States for the embargo. Blame Saudi Arabia for oil price manipultion. Blame Maduro for not being as competent as Chavez, but you cannot blame Chavez or bolivarianism.

"Venezuela's economy improved dramatically during much of the Chávez presidency, trending positive until the oil price collapse in 2013.[4] From 1999 through 2013, inflation dropped to its lowest levels in the country since the late 1980s, and unemployment dropped drastically, following many years of increases before Chávez was elected.[4] In 1999, when Chávez took office, unemployment was 14.5 percent; for 2011 it had declined to 7.8 percent.[4] Poverty also decreased significantly, dropping by nearly 50 percent since the oil strike, with extreme poverty dropping by over 70 percent.[4]"

Chavez gutted the national oil company.

Maduro is incompetent, but he's not really to blame. Chavez survived because the price of oil was high. His policy of buying votes and financing imports was unsustainable in a sub $100 oil environment.

You don't blame the oil market for a lack of foresight. At least the dictators in Saudi Arabia are trying to escape dependence on oil.

1) There is no embargo from the USA.

2) If we had a good working economy, we wouldnt be affected by Saudi's oil price manipulation.

3) Chavez started the socialist policies that destroyed the foundations of the venezuelan economy. Maduro just continued what Chavez started. The destruction of the oil industry began in 2002, the expropiations of private industries and private productive lands started in 2003-2004-2005. Even when oil price was very high around 2008, we began to see scarcity is a low scale, but if was beginning to happen.

Wikipedia can be written, edited and manipulated by whoever wants to do it. I will repeat here what I have said since I started posting here in 2013: internet graphics, statistics, etc, mean nothing to me and to us venezuelans. We have seen first hand how all of that is manipulated aimed for international propaganda. Inside Venezuela we could clearly see all those statistics, charts, graphs, whatever bullshit is it said in wikipedia or any other website, its all BS when you are seeing first hand the opposite.
