i think that considering how close the presidential elections were for example, and how a few thousand votes could easily have reversed the outcome, this should be considered a serious attack on democracy. i mean seriously, if a political party tried to do that in any other western democracy, they'd be punished and potentially even banned if they did not cease trying to undermine fundamental rights like that... how can you possibly stand for something like that - even if you're conservative (and not just a partisan hack favouring everything that helps 'your' side)?

ignoring active efforts by republicans to prevent people from getting ids or purging them from voter rolls without telling them

Ignoring efforts to shut down voting centers that might attract large minority demographics

or lies that it's needed to prevent voter fraud citing a number of retarded sources that appeal to the infowars crowd

It'd be nice if these people were just honest and admitted that preventing negroes and mexicans from voting is necessary to win and that's all they care about
