In a conference call with reporters, the Democratic governor called the invitation to Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes to speak at the Metropolitan Republican Club a "political tactic because what they're trying to do is fire up their base" ahead of the midterm elections.

The Republican Club had been vandalized ahead of the speech, with officials saying the damage included smashed windows, a spray-painted door and a keypad lock covered in glue. A note left at the scene claimed that the damage was "just the beginning."

The state Republican Party called Cuomo's comments "outrageous."
In an emailed statement, spokeswoman Jessica Proud said, "It's unconscionable that when Republicans were attacked and threatened, Governor Cuomo said absolutely nothing. Violence of any kind has no place in society, yet the governor — who is charged with ensuring everyone's personal safety and property is protected — only thinks those rights should be afforded to Democrats. It's not surprising coming from the man who said conservatives have no place in the state, but it's nonetheless outrageous."
Ok, from the 1st article we see that the Proud Boys were NOT invited. Just Gavin McInnes was, and then Democrats proceeded to vandalize the place, and Cuomo decided to lie about the whole thing. The only laws that have been broken were broken by the Democrats.AND in the Huffington Post article that was mentioned in the 2nd article above, we have...Quote
Asked about alleged assaults near the Metropolitan Republican Club, an NYPD spokesperson said three people — two 20-year-olds and a 35-year-old — were arrested at the corner of 3rd Avenue and East 84th Street a little before 9 p.m. They were each charged with assault and robbery. One man was charged with resisting arrest.
The NYPD could “not confirm any known group association” of those arrested, or “whether or not they attended the event” at the Metropolitan Republican Club, or whether they attacked anyone who did attend, the spokesperson said. The department added it wasn’t aware of anyone being hospitalized.

A spokesperson for the New York Police Department told Newsweek Saturday there were three people arrested at 3rd Avenue and East 84th Street at the time of the incident: two 20-year-olds were charged with assault and robbery, and a third individual, 35, was charged with assault, robbery and resisting arrest. No one was hospitalized. The department declined to provide more details, but public defender Rebecca Kavanagh posted on Twitter that she confirmed the three individuals arrested were anti-racist protesters and were not members of Proud Boys.
It's becoming painfully obvious that the media in general has gone ... LEFT. It's horribly easy to find altered or "not included' facts in articles all over the place. It's getting very hard to find the truth.
Hell, we even have posters on PaRD who behave in the same manner.
I site this topic as an example.
I guess when the Dems said that civility was over, unless they won... they meant it.
