I never took either. Just went to community college and for the 4-year schools around here if you already have 30 college credits they don't require SAT or ACT.

Nuffic (Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education) recommends that Dutch universities evaluate a high school or secondary school diploma at VWO (Voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderwijs) level if a student has earned a score of 3, 4 or 5 on at least four AP Exams. For this evaluation, an official AP Score Report is required (to be sent directly from the College Board) in addition to the official school transcript. It should be noted that a high school diploma awarded with fewer than four AP subjects can also be evaluated as comparable to a VWO diploma, provided the student has completed a challenging academic program that includes a college preparatory program and advanced coursework.


I passed my VWO close to cum laude (like 0.3 away :( ), had some additional subjects too (information technology and Latin). Idk what kind of SAT that would represent.

The English exam is in English, so it'd maybe be fun to see what kind of reading comprehension is expected from Dutch people at ~18 yo.

That chart looks backwards (unless they're changed the SAT scoring system twice since I took it). The old SAT score used to max out at 1600.
