At what point should society stop intellectual child abuse?

When does the child's right not to be abused become more important than a parent's right to raise them badly?

Probably at the point that they're actually abused.

...there is no stretch of rational thought by rational people that would consider this child abuse and it is an insult to the bruised and battered children who are the real victims .

Seems to me this type of nonsense gets a free pass only because it is tied to religion.

How much tolerance would there be for parents who teach their children that AIDS is a myth by pharmaceutical companies?
