https://nypost.com/2026/05/15/us-news/annoying-kars4kids-jingle-permanently-banned-from-california-airwaves/

A judge in California ruled today that the charity Kars 4 Kids can no longer run their radio jingles unless they identify themselves to the public as a jewish organization.
K4K has always been a nonprofit 501c3 that takes donated cars and funds school tuition, summer camps and trips to israel for jewish children mostly in New York, via the charity organization Oorah
This has never been a secret and was always available right on their website and public information, saying right on their front page they donate to their sister charity

California has gone the extra mile and decided that you're not allowed to run a charity for jews unless you tell everyone you're a jew and they're contributing to jews.
Judge Gassia Apkarian, a self avowed armenian nationalist, has ruled as follows:

Quote
The witness admitted that the word “Jewish” does not appear anywhere in the advertisement. She
confirmed the organization’s purpose is to help “Jewish kids and families throughout their lives,” yet this
is never communicated to the public in the broadcast. Ms. Landau testified multiple times that the
advertisement “does not mention anything” and contains “no details” about what Kars4Kids does. She
stated that while the ad features children aged 8–10, she confirmed the funded programs often target
young adults (17–18) and matchmaking as well as Jewish families

...

The Defendant is hereby PERMANENTLY ENJOINED from broadcasting the ‘Kars4Kids’ jingle or any
variation thereof in the State of California unless said advertisement contains an express, audible
disclosure of its religious affiliation

So here we are. Jewish organizations must disclose that you are donating to DIE JUDEN to be legal in California. This prior restraint and forced disclosure is only applied to jews; no such requirement for other groups, demographics, organizations. If "The nsoro Foundation" raises money for "Helping youth aging out of foster care earn postsecondary education", they don't have to wear bells on their collars to let you know they're out at night. Just jews getting the gold star treatment again.

Oh noooooooooooo, a charity that donates to Israel!! BUMMER

Reports and testimony indicated that a large percentage of revenue went to advertising and fundraising, while much of the remainder funded programs concentrated in the Northeast and Israel rather than local children’s charities in donor states.

How exactly is this charity "representing foreign interests"?

it sends some of its funds to Israel, which is another country.

From the limited information in front of me we have :

A charity, which gets commodities and funds donated to it, which it uses to help people of a specific religion, and which encourages said children, from said religion to pilgrimage, to said homeland of said religion, i.e. Israel.

If you present yourself as a general children’s charity, but in practice fund a much narrower religious and cultural mission, donors may be misled unless that context is disclosed, which I understand is the root issue.

More careful reading would eliminate such questions. Or is this an attempt to get my opinion? If so, I have a negative view of such laws.

None of this makes the charity represent the interests of a foreign nation - it represents Jewish interests, a religion whose homeland happens to be Israel. If a Catholic charity funded summer camps in Italy, including a trip to Vatican City, would we consider them "an agent of Italian interests"? Of course not.

No but we would want a sign that says it is a catholic charity that funds summer camps in Italy. sothat donors know where their money is going. surely this is not a deal breaker? knowing where your money is going is a key part to donating to charities.
