The conflict involves the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), commanded by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

No surprise all the "violence and bloodshed must stop" people are all fast asleep once they're reminded that violence and bloodshed has been going on in African countries just as long if not longer than in the Middle East.

Wasn't America supposed to be in a civil war too? What happened to all those idle threats?

It was a mistake not to support Abdallah Hamdok government. RSF and SAF are two sides of the same coin. Sectarian violence, civil war and ruin. Having said that RSF is worse than SAF.

SAF is acting like a legitimate government - which they are not. RSF is even worse. I dont think SAF could win because RSF is a very violent and well-trained and well-funded militia.

PS don’t tell us you are from Sudan I care about it for personal & professional reasons, but 99.999% of world population has no idea South Sudan seceded yet.
