A friend of mine canceled their family trip to California. They don't want to be "uncertain" to enter despite valid visa with kids. I have to say the US resembles a police state the most at the moment, you know the type of government democracies teach at school to be wary about

My company has cancelled all business trips to the US mainly because of the economic uncertainties - but also because no1 in our team wants to go there anymore.
The government is perceived highly discfunctional.

Meanwhile trips to Mexico, Brazil as well as China continue. Crazy to think freakin China seems less of a concern now

My co workers are afraid of the Twin Cities since Floyd, and other paralleled regions. One used the light rail system and that was game over. USA is huge though, it's really region by region. Most Midwest states are as large as EU nations, lots of variation.





As for tourism, as far as I'm concerned many parts of the US need to rip the tourism as a replacement for actual industries bandaid off. For example, my region touts environmental tourism industry which is great, until you realize it's Seasonal 5 month boom, 7 month shit. And most of the tourists are completely out of touch citidiots. Worse, the second property owners running commercial real estate in residential single family zoned small towns. Yeah, tourism is really good. We love th Canadians especially, great tippers
