That's what we were telling you from the very start. We don't need stupid fucks called Nuland stirring shit up in Europe with regime changes and wars with the slogan "Fuck the EU!". The idea is that we're independent from the US, China or Russia and dictate our own terms. For that, you need proper deterrence alias a potent army and a nuclear umbrella. I don't trust the unelected EU body one bit. They should have 0 nuclear capability. It's better to financially support France and UK to cover all of Europe with their nuclear arsenal and leave the control to them as of now.

We want and badly need energy/natural resources from Russia but they shouldn't be able to blackmail us. They're our neighbours. We want cooperation with the US but we don't want to further their influence against the economical interests of EU. Right now, the US is trying to acquire the rights to NordStream 2, so they can blackmail us again btw.

Will anybody actually use the nukes, unless its their last resort? Nuclear war is catastrophic, so I think there will be conventional war first. I don't believe that France or UK will use nukes to defend Germany. They will maybe use it when there will be full scale attack on them.

Deterrence, so your opponent doesn't use nukes. France has to fire because any country hit next to France would send radiation towards France. That's one of the reason why Russia isn't nuking Ukraine btw.
Conventional force at required at the border. The good thing control of migration will be better as well.

I wouldn't give nuclear weapons to the Germans. What if they clone Hitler, give him artificial intelligence, embed him into smart speakers ("Heil Hitler, turn on the light"), and the Russians will have to clean up the mess again.

I don't think giving the control of the nukes to anybody is a good idea. Helping France and UK financially, so they can expand their nuclear umbrella over all of Europe is the better idea.

We both know that if Hitler wakes up, Putin would most likely make a deal with him and split the Europe in half between them.
