China isn’t Japan, and the U.S. sees it as a way bigger threat—economically, politically, and militarily. That’s why bans on Chinese tech keep gaining traction. Will they actually follow through? It depends. The government is clearly ramping up pressure. If an app gets big enough and Washington thinks it’s a security risk, they’ll find a way to crack down—whether through outright bans or making it harder for Americans to use.
The question remain though; Is it acceptable, in your eyes, if they follow through?

Let me repeat.. If China is exactly like Japan and I meant every word I said.
1. US troops in their land to help them with " security "
2. No Nukes
3. Follow and take orders from the United States
There will be no ban on Tik Tok or Deep Seek.
Or you let Elon Musk or Jared Kushner buy up the Tik Tok USA shares for cheap holding 70% of the company. Tik Tok will be back online within 24 hours.
