President Trump is meeting with Jensen Huang today to discuss the future of GPU's.
Hopefully Trump brings up the need to lower prices for consumer graphics cards for gamers,
and increasing the stingy amount of Vram on GPU configurations.
*Its probably just an exemption from tariffs though.

GPU prices will never come down,
I miss the days of building a PC for $1000.
The equivalent today is $2000-$3000.

GPU's should be for core gamers first and foremost!

It's more likely about AI and crypto. That and China outdoing us in every facet of technological advancement.

There's no stopping that, the USA has been progressively dumbing down its public school system for the last 50 years.
Public school for most intelligent kids today is just a form of arrested development for k-12.
The U.S. solution to this is to import pajeet scammers, a solution that will never work out in the long run, and will only make us worse off.

The 40 series is actually more affordable than I expected and although the prices are insane, you have to remember during COVID era the high end GPUs were going for double or triple these prices.

I don't think we need such expensive GPU if we are going to be playing D2R and Poe2 All day.

New GPU's are a luxury item for people who don't want to re-paste, and re-pad their Graphics Card.

Nvidia produces 0.00% of their own GPUs and 0.00% of their GPUs are produced in the US. Nvidia's GPU production is primarily outsourced to TSMC (Taiwan).

AMD also produces 0.00% of their GPUs AND CPUs and near as I can tell 0.00% of their CPUs and GPUs are produced in the US. AMD's CPU and GPU production is primarily outsourced to TSMC (Taiwan).

Apple produces 0.00% of their chips and 0.00% of their chips are produced in the US. Their chips are outsourced primarily to TSMC (Taiwan).

At this point in time, there's very nearly a global Monopoly on chip manufacturing, held by Taiwan. The only major competitor in town is Intel. And Intel has outsourced the bulk majority of their production capacity to China.
