Consolidation of social welfare programs from over 100 would be logical as well. Not elimination just simplification and consolidation of systems and programs.
Modernizing federal/state databases and web portals seems like low hanging fruit. They are unreasonably incompetently engineered with astronomical costs, makes denver baggage systems look efficient.
Obama would have benefited from having a Doge of his own before the ACA tried to roll out marketplaces. Ever tried to use one of those? lmao
