lol this wont do a single thing, because politicians do little to nothing to actually change course. Even if they campaign on it, it's typically BAU when they get in, which is do very little to curtail it.
Almost every country that has seen a huge influx of immigrants, the populace was generally against it for at least the last 5 years. Western Europe is a prime example. Brexit was literally a referendum on immigration, so you would think immigration would plummet after it? No lol, UK saw the largest net migration 2 years after it. It's startling that immigration would jump by below magnitude.
