Rivers are not clean. Medieval city has a river, the river is not designed for swimming in.


For context 1.5 billion is about 0.05% of Frances gdp.
Rather spend 1.5billion cleaning a river than spending 20% of a countries gdp per year on a failed invasion of Ukraine, yikes!

Europeans are disgusting, this wasn't some remote creek that a settlement runs their sewage to, France had sewage running to this river when the rest of the world (Except India) moved on long ago to septic and sewage systems.

That river shouldn't be full of shit in the first place but thinking that wasting $1.5 B and failing to solve the problem is somehow ok earns you another thumbs-up
