The election finance case relied upon a catch 22 standard where every campaign expense by everyone is illegal if you have two mutually exclusive definitions of personal expenses
The documents case relied upon selective enforcement and charging only one person while ignoring everyone else doing even more flagrant violations with actual national security risks
Both cases relied upon contrived legal fictions that drastically reinterpreted existing law to torture them into an excuse to lock up Trump, law that never existed until they invented it just now

The loan case is still IMO the worst. if i loan you my lucky cricket and value it at 100$, then you give me 80$, and i pay you back 82$ as discussed a week later we're both now criminals.

at least the other two are just selective enforcement and legal reaching, the loans case is an absurd govt. overreach. the govts has no place telling banks what loans they can issue based on the value of collateral. the only basic legal theory basis i can even see for that is the govt backing the funds in said bank, but we've shown for a long time that the fed doesn't have much pull with banks unless they're forced to request a bailout.

So this will be appealed, but I don't believe Jack smith has any hope here. If trump wins the election, I believe this goes away no matter what. At this point Jack smith is just too late and to continue course is pretty dumbfounding.
