Senators reach bipartisan deal to ban stock trading by lawmakers

This should have been done years ago...fingers crossed this actually advances and becomes a law. I think this is one thing people from both sides of the aisle can agree upon

The Congressmen however will be messing up their income if they pass that bill.

That's really the crux. "Hey hey hey, it's a TOTAL coincidence that my brother-in-law went one million short on company XYZ a week before we outlawed XYZ's business model."
