In the USA I have noticed a rise in migrants, but it's NOTHING compared to Canada.
I'm very familiar with both countries through personal experience.
Canada is far worse off than the USA on this topic.
I'm not sure I buy that, they just refuse to work for shitty salaries that haven't kept up with costs of living. We have a decent minimum wage laws but I believe there is wide spread under the table labour that pays well below minimum wage, exploiting these foreigners that have been lured here with the promise of a better life. I've seen it in construction and restaurants taking advantage of foreigners who speak little to no english - personally know of someone who makes $5/hour, 12 hours a day and he's not authorized to work.
