Anyone following this trial?

I have only caught onto it recently but have been shocked at what has gone on

Cliffs-
Boston cop found dead on lawn and her wife is being charged with murder. Defence is saying the cops inside the house where he was found are responsible and are blaming it on her.

The investigation into it was a total mess… leaf blowers to blow snow to try find evidence. Red solo cups to collect blood. Didn’t search the house where his body was found even tho he was drinking with the people in the house at a bar all night.

Then it turns out the lead investigator was searching the suspects phone and messaging his cop buddies about her leaky ass medical condition and that he was searching for nude photos of her… he was on the stand in court explaining all of this to the jury what a MESS

So the two competing narratives are that she is a psycho who killed her boyfriend after expressing a motive to do so, carelessly left lots of obvious evidence she did it, and the police were unprofessional in their investigation. Versus the claim that the boyfriend randomly got attacked by puerto rican guys who miraculously left no evidence of existing, and then uninvolved police officers decided to perpetrate a conspiracy to frame her by planting evidence despite not having any motive to do so.

The thing that gets me is they say she reversed into him at 24mph, hitting him in the back of the head with the tail light, with enough force to throw him onto the grass and knock a shoe off

But all we see for the cars damage is a broken tail light. I would expect a lot more

I tried to follow this at one point, but trial is on day 30 or something ridiculous. Lawyers milking Karen's dad.


Couple things I don't recall that seemed sketchy
- Cop family can afford million dollar home and lifestyle?
- Clever to destroy phones on military bases
- When body found, allegedly occupants of house did not help
- Lead Investigator has IQ of Mc Donald's entry level, holy shit embarrassment
- Judge has obvious disdain toward defense
- last week, defense tries to bring in Fed experts or something, Bev was not happy about it

What damage are you expecting a human getting hit at a measly 24 mph to leave on a damn car?? lol

The common wealths theory is that she reversed into him at 24 mph with enough force to knock a shoe off and kill him. Enough force to throw him 30 feet. I would expect more damage then a broken tail light?

Me too if that’s what actually happened, but 24 mph doesn’t seem anywhere near high speed enough to do what they’re claiming imo
