Police say a dog ran out in front of them and they swerved into the building to avoid hitting it. Then they arrested the bar owner who came out and was angry that they had just trashed his bar.

I knew this was a lie the moment I heard it. Police would not swerve to miss a dog. They would swerve to hit it and then shoot it for good measure, and arrest the owner. Probably because dogs love to eat bacon.

When you've seen a hundred videos of cops murdering 12 year olds and abusing people for no reason, you stop caring about "the few good ones". The phrase is one bad apple spoils the bunch. As in the whole bunch is bad because of the one.

So if a Democrat is caught with corruption, that means all Dems are corrupt?

I have never in my life said Democrats are anything but corrupt. In fact the best defense of Biden I ever gave was that he's just "normal corrupt".

The fact that corrupt and abusive officers can exist in a police department without the department punishing them shows the entire department is corrupt.

I think that if you care about this issue this much, you should be campaigning to raise awareness and maybe to reform the police rather than demonize all police officers like that. It doesn't solve anything.

Understanding how corrupt the current system is and holding our police to a high standard is part of the process. That includes calling out "good officers" who cover for bad officers. Because a good officer who works with and abides bad officers, is themselves a bad officer.

Bad take, if a cop is covering for a bad cop then they are also bad cops
