I made a sep thread cuz after going through the 10+ pages there it made sense to keep that more related to the Hamas/israeli conflict vs other speculation
Reading between the lines I think it’s rlly clear Iran had an influence over Hamas with these attacks.
Just a little while before the historic Middle East deal going to occur which
-benefits Israel arguably the strongest with energy and commodity resources
-benefits Saudi Arabia with nuclear energy and even stronger US partnership
-benefits Palestine with increased protection against settlers and increased legislative protection
Haven’t rlly been following mainstream media much so idk what the talking points but if it hasn’t already been brought up I think it’s a matter of time - Iran was the only party here with zero to gain from this Middle East treaty
And they have known influence over Hamas. Clearly Hamas not acting in Palestine interests with this unprovoked attack
I have no answers but plenty of questions - what is the US strategy aside from fiscal support to Israel? The US was in the middle of this historic treaty and also stood to gain. The deal will likely fall apart now, but how does the US and really world interact with Iran here. This will hurt Saudi -Iran relations and Saudi doesn’t really need them. Egypt is the other powerhouse in the region and they don’t have a relationship with Iran.
I think how the world interacts with Iran is a matter of if not when. Iran will claim it is a holy war and get Shia across the world to fight. I hope moderate and educated Muslim countries can push back against this notion and recognize Iran for what it is. These global conflicts are quickly getting out of control.
Sorry for Rambling post , after a night shift and got 2 crying babies on me atm
