This was an impressive show of force by Gaetz - he revealed he holds the power to be a deciding factor in the speakership. Now Republicans have no choice but to rally behind a speaker that is approved by Gaetz.

That's some kind of self-destructive behavior, right ? More importantly; it makes these U.S republicans even more responsible of the current political mess on the eyes of their whole population. They are the ones at fault here.

I think it's interesting that some republicans are stirring the pot. After the democrats stirred the pot for 8 years, maybe some of it is in order to restore a semblance of balance
