Tonight Donald Trump held his first presidential debate against Tucker Carlson, the only rival who could actually threaten him in a primary. Meanwhile a whole bunch of sweaty guys circled around one woman while her husband is off overseas or something.
What reactions or indifference do you have to the first debate and probably only one that will get watched since none of the actual candidates will be on a debate stage this election.

Awful performances all around except for North Dakota guy, and the fact that I can't be bothered to remember his name well enough to spell it says all you need to know about his chances. The Republican party should disband.

I tried writing a blurb about each, but I realized I don't care. Haley's Israel schtick was asinine 2000s political babble that never made any sense. Pence is a delusional 2nd rate politician, Ramaswamy is a demagogue who doesn't care if an idea is good or bad so long as the crowd might like it, Christie got destroyed by Ramaswamy, Hutchinson was completely forgettable, and DeSantis waffled and flubbed basic questions even where he had a clear policy history to run on.

Debate moderators get bonus points for asking loaded questions which easily could have been penned by MSNBC.

Haley definitely went the most warmonger of any of them which stuck out. Chris Christie couldn't get away from being anything but a Trump basher. Pence said a lot of words without saying anything, as usual. There's a conspiracy theory that Hutchinson was up on stage but I don't believe it. Debate moderators actually wasted time on a UFO question, but then again it went to Christie so good riddance. Even Tim Scott didn't deliver his usual uplifting sermon about possibilities and instead ended with a quip about trannies.

Trump got something like 120 million views and counting despite the fact that even by his own notorious standards, he was blathering incomprehensibly about nonsensical topics like an old man ranting on a subway car. Weird ax to grind against electric cars and washing machine water and the malaria deaths on the panama canal construction (!?). He didn't even take the time to stick a knife in any of his rivals let alone Pence, he paid about as much attention to them as I did.

Gonna be an election season where one candidate can't string together three words without keeling over and the other babbles like larry david on angel dust

I turned it off after 5 minutes. The whole format was comically cheesy with the cringe song opener.
