This will be a quick thread because I need to run to the pet store. As a far right man, nothing irks me more than the Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro fandom. The "What is a Woman" meme isn't a sign of victory. It can convince people that they shouldn't accept absolute absurdities of the trans agenda, but at a deeper level it reflects just how ineffective Conservatives are at Conserving anything.

The rallying cry of conservative politics is "What is a woman" and "Don't sexualize children". Do you see what I mean. Those are the strongest statements right wingers can muster? And they don't even take a firm stance on these issues. They still permit gay marriage. They celebrate gay adoption. They say mentally ill adults should have access to mutilation procedures referred to as "gender affirming surgeries". Admittedly, there is logic to their points. But the fact that they have to deliver sermons on these self evident matters show's how much ground has been lost.

The Right Wing in America has been lacking for sometime. I used to be a libertarian, and I found it toothless. If you're entire platform is based on permissiveness and your opponent has a platform that is based on restricting your rights, you'll ultimately lose everything you want while surrendering everything they want. The word I like to use is Righteousness, and it is no where to be found in the American right. They cannot make declarative statements of authority over others because they are blinded by their adherence to this "live and let live" nonsense. They won't say "Homosexuality is morally wrong and the State has a role in punishing this abhorrent behavior." They won't say "This is a country founded by Christianity, His message is the truth, and it will be taught in public schools." They won't say "Society is harmed when people use crack and meth, so the state will imprison all who do and execute all who engage in the trafficking of these substances." They won't even say "You're mentally ill, we won't allow you to harm yourself."

The Left says it has the moral authority to take your property and indoctrinate your children, and you say "can't we just live and let live." No. Make a fist and throw a punch. Declare to them, you will be normal and we will not tolerate your degenerate behavior.

Gay people are natural, have always existed, have been recognized in most every culture throughout history, and are perfectly capable of leading normal fulfilling lives, being parents or having sincere relationships.
That's not true for trannies. The "T" agenda only exists by sinking its hooks into the LGB and riding it like a sandworm. Until a few years ago they didn't even 'exist', of course, they still don't.

what i find funny in your post is that you're a former libertarian turned right winger. when to my eyes the moment the GOP went downhill was when they turned their back on the fiscally libertarian strain of their own party. the pendulum stopped swinging fiscally, now it just runs around the clock.

Fiscal conservatism when a majority of the country doesn't want to touch entitlements is a dead topic.

In any case, growth for the sake of growth without any thought to creating a strong, enduring society is worse than worthless. We are creating a smaller, weaker, and more divided society of depressed loners too fat to do military service.

sure, but SOMEHOW the gop got most of the south and a lot of other areas for decades while railing against the entitlements. which seemed to keep them within reason. when you stop tho? who knows what the result will be.

im curious to see if overly focusing on social issues will stop the purple creep in the south and win back territory in the rust belt. or if it will fail and in 10 years we'll be back to hearing about how bad welfare is.
