This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.
My cat woke me up at 4:50 am and now it is your problem. So, whites didn't burn down Black Wall Street. It was a race riot where people were shot and killed by and on both sides. It wasn't Wall Street, it was a business district. The context is only slightly important. Tulsa was a heavily segregated place. Lynching was a form of retributive communal justice, seeing as a white man was lynched a year prior to the riots (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Belton). A black guy goes into an elevator. A white woman screams. The world says the black guy did nothing, much like the world said a white New York nurse tried to steal a bike from a gang of black youths. A bunch of whites went to the jail. A bunch of blacks also went to the jail. Like a person scheduling a date with their wife and a meeting with there boss at the same time at the same restaurant, confusion and race hatred manifested. Also, they have to pretend to be different people at the dinner for reasons.
Anyway, an old white guy tried to tell a black gentleman to surrender a weapon, or something like that, and the gun went off, and then they had themselves a friendly shootout. Since Whites are generally more proficient at organized mass violence, while blacks specialize in unorganized mass violence, the whites managed to burn down the black neighborhood first. Nig....ht mourns for tulsa
