All the USA has to do is pull it's military base out of Saudi Arabia and their 'royal family' would be destroyed.

Yes indeed, after GB voluntarily decided to castrate itself in the wake of WW2, hegemony over the region was given to the USA, who prop up the state. They only exist as vassals of the USA

a Freedom-of-Information-Act by bloomberg in 2016 showed that Saudi Arabia is one of the USA's largest dept holders for 41 years.

But here is the juicy part, if the current royal family, currently bin Salman, are no longer in control. That dept is wiped.

,.. So with Bin Salman playing ball with china, it may invoke the USA to pull it's military out of SA and thus SA would collapse. While this may seem far fetched,.. it would greatly improve the USA economy if this happened.
