Where does the idea that life begins at conception come from, and where does the idea that life is sacred come from?

The idea that life begins at conception does not come from Christianity, it comes from science. A new life is formed when single strands of DNA from the mother and father connect to form a double helix, which relays further sets of instructions to create the first cell and then the cells multiply.

The idea that life is sacred comes from all fundamental religions & philosophies in the world, and is ground in, frankly, common sense.

That's... Not how it works. Like not even a little bit close. By that definition no one's alive.

Dude this is embarrasing from somebody who claims to have a chemistry degree.

Seriously you just lost all right to ever talk about any scientific subject and I am now pretty certain you're bullshitting about any qualifications you have.

And in fact I know exactly where you got this information, it's what Kent Hovind used to teach when he was claiming to be a biology teacher. So it's pretty sad you're getting your information either from him, or from a source that's just filtering him.

What the hell are you talking about man. This is a simple question of physics here.

DNA from your mother and father aren't bonded together.

The process of fertilization does not create a new cell.

It's a process of biology, not physics.

What in the "school of hard knocks taught me everything i need about my sister wife" is this?
Seriously.

So if it doesn;t come from christianity why do so many christians state it as fact when their bible says otherwise.
And life being sacred is far from a fact in the bible, the bible specifically gives instructions on how to abort.

theres definitely a fusion of gametes which are carrying chromosomes from your mother and father and that new cell (zygote) definitely multiples via mitosis
