I know what youre getting at but the same narrative is being pushed by Russia about "Ukrainian neo-nazis and fascists". A good deal of Russians are fanatic about how they defeated fascism as a nation, so much so that they will be ready to do anything under the guise of combatting fascism.

I'm more inclined to believe the Iraq war was a mistke, and the war in Ukraine made me feel that it wasnt maybe justified at all after all. I dont know the exact geopolitical developments behind the Iraq war so i may have a skewed view on it , but war is war nevertheless.

Didnt say you cant. Once you realise Russia pushes the exact same narrative in a mirrored fashion against Ukraine and the West, it leaves one perplexed and helpless when it comes to arguing for or against the recent wars. The divide between the West and Russia turns out to be bigger than we thought, and no amount of rational argumentation is gonna turn the pro-war Russians around. Theyll just call our arguments corrupt NATO lies, and the useful idiots in the West (like our local contrarians in PaRD) reinforce this view as "woke, anti-corrupt Westerners" from the point of view of Russians, and end up serving as propaganda that supports the Russian justification of the war in Ukraine.
