So I know that Texas has over 20k in their national gaurd aswell as f16s/reaper drones but the question I have is that the national guard can be technically federalized but the Texas State guard cannot right? It would be interesting to see Texans simply tell genocidal Joe to bugger off.

states bow before the federal govt if a president threatens to withhold money, why anyone thinks they'd start an actual war with the fed is beyond me. the idea is idiotic.

Not to mention almost every man outside of the triangle is willing to fight for our land.

This is by no means saying the citizens of Texas want conflict, please do not misconstrue my words. I am saying that if the circumstances remain similar and things do pop off, it is much, much more than Texas guard vs whoever.

Would Texas be so bold if the FEDs cut defense spending to the military contractors that reside in Texas. Cut that industry out, and Texas is not a top producer state. Just another big gov recipient Anyways, FED has sticks left to use to wack Abbot with

Falling for what? The suggestion that a unified front on unauthorized migrants is needed and that you can't just have boarder security while you have the same politicians from both parties endorsing companies that utilize authorized immigration with no repercussions.

this is why these days the idea of civil war isn't even possible.

interstate commerce is too great, and federal aid and direct commerce spending is too great. no state could survive, even if the army didnt roll in, on it's own. just from a financial standpoint that state is ruined the second it even gets lippy. in the past presidents have threatened to just remove funding for road construction and upkeep, and states always bow. imagine turning the spout off entirely, it would destroy a state.

the federal government is the enemy of the american people, all members should face trial for high treason

we know that the democrats want demographics to change in a way that republicans cant win elections anymore like in california

if thats really a possible outcome is another discussion, but this insanity needs to stop

how many more undocumented illegals are supposed to come, what is the plan here and is there a limit?

The incentives go far beyond electoral considerations. Lefty activists and media elites are ideologically committed to open borders; the donor class wants as much cheap labor as it can possibly get.

This argument has never swayed me. States would withhold tax payments to the feds. That knife cuts both ways.
