it's funny how you always dodge the factual content of my posts (trump cutting back on all sorts of regulations) and exclusively focus on your feelings about me - you pretend not to reply any more when you get called out on lies and misrepresentations, but never shy away from calling me names and trying to smear me. it's ALMOST like YOU are the toxic troll, unable to debate issues, and only interested in silly personal attacks. just stfu already. pretend to ignore me again, lol.

then stop quoting me.

Trump has indeed cut back on various regulations for corporations and industries. Nonetheless, even partisan outlets and fact checkers who have no love lost for Trump have come to the conclusion that the East Palestine train derailment cannot be blamed on Trump's deregulations and has roots which trace back far longer than his administration.

By the way, what do you say about Biden using the power of the federal government to crush a strike by railroad workers last year who were demanding paid sick leave? I haven't seen you post a diatribe yet about what a fascist corporate bootlicker Biden is. ^_^

thanks.

that is not entirely true. what people have been saying is that since the train was not classified as "flammable", it would not have been subject to mandatory ECP brake upgrades, even without trump's regulation cuts. that does, however, not mean that trump's deregulations concerning the classification of trains or other safety issues did not contribute to the disaster. the actual and honest argument though, that his deregulations undeniably were a trade-off of public safety for corporate profits, endangering the former to benefit the latter, remains obviously true - if you can directly link one specific incident to one specific ruling or not.

also, i DID post about the rail worker strike (particularly focusing on AOC's involvement, replying to the false equivalent one of our "centrist" pardians made iirc, expressing my disappointment in her final vote - you'll have to find it yourself though if you want to read it). that biden has always been and will always be a corporate shill (don't know where the "fascist" comes from, i guess that's just a MAGA sympathiser projecting?!) is not a surprise to me - nor should it be a surprise to you that i have no problem pointing that out. their demands were perfectly reasonable and way below the standard in most actually civilised countries. i just find it funny that people like you still try to portray him as that radical leftist, when his actual platform, his actions are those of a corporate friendly, establishment conservative...

learn to read, buddy. i did not say or suggest you're "stalking" me - i made the point that you only ever reply to attack me personally, while completely dodging the topic itself.

it's like you're trying to prove me right btw. three replies just in this thread, and not ONE addresses your obliviousness to trump's deregulation spree.

you made the dumb point that "no single president" should be blamed because none has "invested in infrastructure in decades". just ignoring biden's massive infrastructure bill for a second, you're completely missing the point. the point people made about trump in regards to those train crashes was never that he "didn't invest enough", but that he deregulated the industry, which increased the risk to public safety.

if you don't care about addressing people's arguments, just stfu - don't create some silly straw-men just to appear "unbiased", lol.

His economic policies are neoliberal and elite-friendly, I never claimed otherwise. His policies on social and cultural issues, however, are indeed leftist, and radically so in many cases. On pretty much any issue which doesn't directly affect the pocketbooks of the donor class, he is well to the left of where Obama and himself were back in 2008/2012. Meanwhile, the GOP has moved to the left on economic issues during the Trump years.
