The GDP per capita of the US is far higher than yours so the people don't need as many handouts. In addition, as a far richer country the tax revenues are higher so interventionist policies are possible. Your country would not be able to afford it so don't even act like it's a choice on your part. Thanks for the laugh though.
You're the type of person that thinks someone defending America in this context has to be American, aka you're an idiot.

Not "far"

Vast majority is same or poorer, mostly poorer, average GDP per capita is "artificially" boosted by a very tiny part of very rich people who are still living here because of low taxes...
So your argument is wrong because at the first serious "measures" these people will leave to fin another place.

More fake news please

Guns are a glaring issue that foreigners often cannot fathom. Like it or not guns are a part of the very fabric of USA. The reason we have guns is because our constitution says we have the right to.

Don't blame an entire nation because 1 gun got into the hands of an 11 year old. Whoever owned that gun is at fault for not keeping it in a safe place.

There is stupid people everywhere in the world. It's bound to happen that some idiot will have a gun and not look after it responsibly.

What I would really like to see is the owner of the gun (the grandfather in this case) being criminally charged with... something.... if it can be proven that their gross negligence directly resulted in the gun being available to the kid who then used it to kill somebody. If the US started doing this people would be a lot more careful about where they leave their guns.

Actually that is a law. You're required to have your guns stored and secured in a manner that a child can't access it and do harm with it. Or, at least in my state. Every state should have a version of this law however. I agree with your post

GDP per capita is so much higher in the US than it is in France, so someone in the bottom 50% income share in France wouldn't even be on that random graph you got from google. It's % that is plotted not nominal GDP figures.

It's ok to not understand how the economy works and how to interpret figures but don't @ me because I will destroy you every time.

He's from UK, which is prolly half way of Us vs France (when Brexit will occurs, EU Obesity rate will drop significantly)
Us has 15% poverty rate while france has 7%, higher brackets are following the uncomfort.

One last thing...

paid vacations & hours worked.
