"I don't get why there's TP shortages" - idiots, constantly.

restaurants and bars shutting down for weeks coming all across the place, likely to see stores close as well im sure. people shitting at home at 300% increased rates lol. shelves emptying, and factories closing that wont be able to restock.

on top of all of it if I had you pack a car full of everything you needed for a week in a cabin the top thing you'd take is water and Tp. 100 out of 100 people would take water and TP. "this doesn't cause diarrhea", what idiots.

If you have running water, you don't NEED toilet paper. It's just bizarre that water bottles and TP are just GONE in stores when we're confined to our homes. Now, if we don't have running water, you're going to want bullets instead of TP anyway.

I was at the store today and all the eggs were gone except for the cage free happy chicken eggs (7 bucks a dozen). It just made me laugh that even in a crisis, people are unwilling to pay such exorbitant costs for eggs.

I have a bidet so yeah we use almost no TP, but just for fun I checked and Lowes was sold out of those too.

still tho TP works as backup Kleenex, and there was none of that left. no cold medicine, no water, nothing. I have a well with a filter, bidet, and I live in the country with chickens that lay eggs, 2 chest freezers full of beef and venison, and a pantry full of enough dry good to ride out a 3 month quarantine. as well as a root cellar with all of last years harvest canned up in salsa, pickles, relish, etc. and enough guns to hold off anyone god forbid it gets to that.

but if I was a city slicker without a bidet id be running for TP in a 48 pack as well.

last year I was a "cooky prepper lite guy", now I have people saying I was smart lol.

Why do people not just always buy the 60 packs? It's way cheaper per roll and doesn't go bad.

limited space and when u go to the store every week you don't care about losing 3$ in value for something no one thinks will run short.

if we extend the logic to everything Costco and other large stores in bulk should be the only stores, but Walmart is king.

just think of the sheer number by % of meals that are bought at kwik trip lol.... its crazy

I get not bulk buying for some things since a lot of foods dont freeze well and spoil, but for things like tp, rice, dish soap, etc that dont spoil, don't cost too much, and dont take up a lot of space I dont get it. Guess its just people generally being bad at math.
