Are you sure those guys are doing it because they love their country or just because they are trying to save or even promote their political career ?

well, she did at least pretend to be conservative for quite a few years
8 years ago she did declare that multiculturalism is dead
and in 2003 she said that "calling people right wing extremists for warning against parallel societies, thats why we will continue to fight for regulations" and (it gets even better) "we will not rest and we will withstand the call for more migration until we have done everything in our power to give our own people the best chances"
in that same speech she also went on about fighting for german interests and that more migration is not justifiable as the integration of the people already here has not worked

so yeah, she did indeed go from conservative to deranged open borders activist
15 years later we have to suffer the likes of fenderp calling people racist for saying the exact same thing, what a time to be alive my friend

Considering Davis has already said this will be the end of his political career, I'd go with it's because they don't support a super soft brexit.

Tbh, no one on either side of the debate should support it. It's a mess. No idea why the tories decided May was the way to go, she was always a Remainer and now she's trapped herself in a corner, wanting to deliver a brexit without the brexit, which is the worst of both options.

It was less than year ago:

But well, he's close to 70 already. Look like the answer, however, is pretty clear for B.Johnson.

I feel alot of demagogy from the tories or even the labor, bipartism is a terrible thing: those parties are never dying, the renew seems impossible, or... Way slower.

I stated like a month or more ago that brexit would be blocked by their parliament, by this way no one would directly take the blame.
This is all about appearances IMO.
