Those who donate money, so that War Heroes can continue fighting, are definitely the good people. They are not the Heroes though. But you cant expect Ukrainian people in Germany to sacrifice their lives. That's too much sacrifice.
Ukrainians have a choice to keep up fighting, or give up.
Giving up the territory could be the option to save lives, but they would have to run abroad asap, so that Russians dont slaughter them.
The worst thing Ukrainians can do is stop fighting and let Russians capture, enslave and slaughter them.

They don't have a choice anymore. The borders are closed now and thosewhk was rich enough to live the country are now leeching European money to prolong the war while those poor are to sacrifice their lives.

They have a choice but not on the individual level.
If the Ukrainian people demanded surrender to stop the war, the government would have to surrender.
The government in Ukraine needs to listen to its people.
Instead there is still about 50% support for Zelensky and his politics.

We should listen to those who stayed in the country, not those who left, taking advantage of their money and position. For the former, the war is news reports from propaganda channels; for the latter, it's grim everyday reality.
If somebody enslaves you then you would also have a choice but not on the individual level.

According to polls in a country under martial law? It's like asking under Stalin whether you support Comrade Stalin or if elections should be held during the war (by the way, something resembling elections did happen even under him). Reuters went so far as to interview three people and declared public support for Zelensky, while others conducted polls abroad - of course, everyone there voted yes: it's three years of vacation literally, renting out apartments to draft dodgers in Lviv at triple the price, and receiving (read leeching) aid in Europe. Wake up already, you're talking nonsense.

I believe that government popularity surveys are made in Ukraine, not outside. Women, children and elderly are free to move out, yet they do not.
Ukrainian people are stubborn - other countries people would surrender already, but Ukrainians are different, dont give up their homeland easily, which could be seen as either their advantage or disadvantage.

They just don't have money to move abroad or rather feel safer when they are guarding their property from their marauder compatriots, or they move within the country to , say Lviv, this is not how existential war looks like.

Many women did move out, its why the vast majority of prostitutes in german brothels are Ukrainians.
Basically a whole generation of men were killed and women left to become whores, its not exactly a great story

the demographics in ukraine right now are astoundingly lopsided for a population pyramid

LMFAO, dude maybe 50% support the war among the population who are abroad and safe with refugee status.
As for those still in Ukraine, the government has been resorting to forcefully kidnapping people off the street for over 2 years now.

No women wants her husband, children, or grandchildren sent into the meat grinder.
Who is this demographic that supports continuing the war, just out of spite?

Its more than 50% inside Ukraine. Source:

Anyway I'm aware that Ukraine had to forcefully draft some soldiers, as it seems Ukrainian people wanted to keep fighting, but not enough of them actually joined the army.

https://atlas-report.com/reasons-why-putin-already-lost-the-war-in-ukraine/

- Russia won’t be able to occupy Ukraine ( same than below)
- Russia won’t be able to demilitarize Ukraine (So true, it's size of France + West Germany...)
- Russia won’t be able to weaken NATO (discussable, because a strong change in Russia can question NATO treaty)
- Russia won’t be able to divide the European Union (United it even more)
- Russia is getting its economy destroyed by sanctions (to be confirmed)

What output can we expect from the changes in EU-RUSSIA relation ? Is it a good thing for USA ?

Maybe Russia could pay rebuild and all various costs with its Oil, Natural gas, Minerals.

Imo the best would have to get ex-Russia to join EU, would take a decade or more btw...
