Lots of things are wrong to the simple minded.

priests have had people thinking god cares about whether an animal has hooves for a few thousand years.

last year i convinced my nephew our family has half wizards but we cant tell anyone or they'll try to steal out magic. i pulled a quarter out of his year for effect.

Was the previous elections as close as this one was?

i had him from +1 in senate to -3. im slightly surprised he gained 3 but not shocked.

the house flood is about what i expected, but its even a bit underwhelming considering the flood narrative was so strong.

The real moral from this election is the increasing partisanship and untenable centrism. It was the blue dog senators and house rinos who got the ax.
I think a better visual is that the red wave and blue wave both existed, and they crashed into one another and everyone in the middle ded

I'm in a cult, what is this god you speak of?

Dems threw the kitchen sink at the Zodiac killer and he won. They (impressively) constructed a halfway decent candidate from the ground up and gave him the keys to the Lambo and he lost.

Ted Cruz is not well liked, and he kills people. This was the chance to pull an upset.

Tbh I think this sets up trump better for 2020 also.. got asked if pence was his running mate and he was like oh shit I haven’t even asked him and asked him live in front of the press conference. Thought that was kinda funny and just so trump

maybe. It’ll be 2 years of (D) reeeeing only this time they’re in charge of the House so its their turn to play legislature and 2 years of “orange man bad” instead of legislation might not play well. also theres a possibility of any proposed legislation that undoes the tax cuts or puts forth regulations slows the economy down which Drumpf can point to and say “see i told you so”

if your mind can only process wins and losses as who's in office, sure. the 3-4 people from your general mindset saying otherwise on this very page don't seem to have much of an issue tho.

the DNC would have re-routed most of Beto's cash to georgia, where Abrahms still loses, if we're getting specific.

the battle was texas, 2020 is the way. and the DNC might just have found their George Washington, a man who lost most of his early battles and, well we all know the story.

Keep holding on hope. You'll get there sometime.... maybe.

All these moral victories are starting to add up!

You are looking at this from the wrong lens. Democrats ran was is arguably their best candidate against Ted Cruz - someone who literally kills people. They raised record amounts of money for Beto and he got the most favorable press a candidate has ever seen in recent memory - possibly ever. Beto was endorsed by anyone and everyone (D) and even managed to snag a few others. Fucking Willie Nelson came out and bent the knee and opened wide to Francis O'Rourke.

He still lost. He get's to keep his severance package of what i recall to be $70,000,000.00 for his efforts. What a fucking genius.

I can just see Abram's campaigner crowd, looking in every nook and cranny for people that didn't vote. Waking up winos and retro-registering them.

Please see post #988.

Beto is the hero democrats need! They should save him for 2024 when it's a fresh race. We'll see if he stays relevant without being in a high public office.

I see things how I see them. This guy is an artificially crafted candidate who was a blank slate and all the money you could imagine running against Ted Fucking Cruz. He lost.
