When the July 20 plot failed to kill Hitler, it was a bare few hours until the conspirators were turning on one another and total chaos as they tried to take over Germany and faltered and informed on each other and committed suicide, Fromm ran around killing his associates to try to cover for himself and was shot by a firing squad just the same. The suspects were already suspected long before the bombing. 9/11 is a great example of what I’m talking about, because the official story is that there WAS a conspiracy. But it was only a conspiracy of incompetence and distrust between agencies. The CIA did not commit the terrorist attacks on 9/11, they only failed to prevent it… by conspiring to illegally keep information from being shared with the FBI. They did this, protected the terrorists who ended up attacking America, because they incorrectly assumed that they would take a long time and set up terrorist cells before attempting to carry out an attack, giving the CIA time to use them to track down “bigger fish”.

Heads should have rolled when all this was revealed, but it was not a sufficiently massive conspiracy to capture the imagination of the public. We were hungry for more, so we ignored the real portion in front of us.

I mean there was a conspiracy of muslims who came to america from saudi arabia with the intent to carry out a terrorist attack, and there was a failure of dysfunctional intelligence agencies that distrusted each other and didn't cooperated with the actionable intel they had, but that's more like a lack of conspiracy than a conspiracy. Instead of learning our lesson, within the first few months of Trump's presidency the FBI set up an ambush on his national security advisor to try to create a crime to charge him with. Instead of agencies cooperating, they were putting knives at each other's throats sawing as hard as they could.

Trump's management style has always been to foster division and competition between his subordinates to get results, and fire the losers. That can work when there's a man in charge keeping the kids playing fair and working towards a common goal, but what happens when there's a power vacuum and self-interested bureaucrats and corrupt agency heads aren't being reined in by anyone? That's what happened under Obama/Biden. Hopefully it doesn't happen under Trump, seems nobody can swing their dick around while he's in charge, but all it would take is one less immigration chart and we'd be in a power vacuum with all the underlings ready to eat each other

Well I didn't say that at all. I specifically said the opposite--that conspiracy is not only possible, that's it's a fundamental truth. This does not mean every single aspect of every single conspiracy theory is correct though, you need evidence to believe things and you need to weigh that evidence against plausibility and probability.

People think Epstein was providing child sex workers to all of his friends, to everyone he came into contact with. Whether or not this is true does not matter to individuals associated with him. The association is a threat that warrants avoiding even at massive cost, and even if they did nothing wrong. Perception is powerful in and of itself, even when erroneous.
