There certainly seems to be a philosophical/ideological acceptance, as well as a material/spacial acceptance.

One confusing thing of Israel, is that it demands the former from the Palestinians while not respecting the latter for the Palestinians. Hard to convince a population that you should be accepted, and are not a colonizing/expansionist nation state, while illegally settling into their land.

This is a very simplistic view of a much more complicated situation. It’s also hard to convince Israelis to make peace with a nation that in the early 2000’s blew buses up in the middle of Tel-Aviv.
IMO the conflict is at a point of which one side must be forced down. There won’t be a mutual agreement.

i made a slight edit to my above, for visibility. note that I am in agreement with Handcuffs here. We see and hear every day of what is happening in the west bank and this refutes the argument that this conflict came out of nowhere. not evening mentioning gaza of course. to say that this is caused by the other side and to ignore what we have seen for decades is ...

And I'm sure the Palestinians have their reasonings for why they believe mutually agreed peace is an impossibility due to Israeli actions as well.

They assume you are the aggressor even if you never initiated any violence.
They fail to understand Israel has no will nor interest in violence or more land.
They simply say the same things over and over ignoring facts and use what ever is convenient or very specific and irrelevant.
They argue to be right not to learn

We failed the PR war therefore its a waste of time.

Your last sentence is why we lost the PR war.
And I said the same sentence around 5 times in this thread.
But we should continue and do our best..

The funny thing about Israel is that they could easily get away with the atrocities they commit if they could simply manage to not be inhuman monsters about it.

No one would care at all but then some Israeli propagandist has to hop on TV and start ranting about how it is actually good to bomb children en masse and if you disagree you are antisemitic

I’m sure they do.
Don’t get me wrong, Israel did and doing some f*ked up stuff sometimes but I do not understand how can people (or you) accept the entire Palestinian narrative, no questions asked.

Israel just whacked a bunch of irgc boys hiding out at the Iranian embassy in Damascus:

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Chief of the IRGC Quds Force Syria & Lebanon branch.

2. Brigadier General Hossein Aminollah, Chief of Staff of the IRGC Quds Force Syria & Lebanon branch.

3. General Mohammad Hajj Rahimi, close friend and deputy of Zahedi, also part of the IRGC Quds Force Syria & Lebanon branch

I think conflict is complex, and that people have compelling reasons and context for their behavior. This applies to both the Palestinians and the Israelis.
