Mining won't be profitable once we hit €~5k, so that'll be absolute bottom definitely. For BTC to drop below that the miners would have to be willing to write off all their hardware.

no lambo, sadly, but I did sell all my ripple at 2.5 to buy a lexus. Watched ripple go up to like $3 after and was thinking "damn, should've waited". Now that it's like 0.7 I feel like a financial genius wizard who can tell the future by fondling goat testicles.

I would take my time and see how this is going to turn out.
Not only will it affect the values of all coins for a bit...it may change the ways that we handle crypto currencies. It will also, if passed, offer a ton of protection for the investors.
