Haven't lived in Texas, but gun laws in Arizona are simple enough: Over 21, can carry concealed or open nearly anywhere, no permits needed. Any place, such as a court house or DMV that insists on no arms needs to provide weapons lockers to safely store your arms while on site.

Was never uncommon to be in a restaurant, and out of 50 people, 15-20 would be openly armed. And to be honest, that's not scary at all. If even one person draws a weapon and tries to start shit, they're going to catch 14 bullets. "An armed society is a polite society".

Most lefties understand this point within days of moving to such a state.

open carry has always been the less scary option to me, and i agree people seem to get acclimated fairly quickly.
