They're firing Yasins and while Israel has done a fantastic job of destroying the entirety of gazan infrastructure, the tunnels (and the production of hamas military weapons) remains entirely intact.

a terrorist act is not an act of war. it is a terrorist act. If you want to call it an act of war then the response should be to bring those responsible to justice, not to collectively punish an entire people. in terms of contradictions you would be better placed to question yourself then me!

I edited my posts. feel free to not edit yours. You are questioning whether the Israeli response is disproportionate or not. Based on the UN, the court of world public opinion is on my side and not on yours, therefore, if i wanted to, I could better say that you cant be taken seriously. When arguing, you should argue your point, not make personal attacks as all that does is undermine your position. of course, if you want to undermine your position, continue with the personal attacks, i really dont mind, winning the argument i mean.

Oh I thought decades of oppression, brutality, imprisonment, punishment beatings, ethnic cleansing, theft and apartheid were the drivers for the current conflict. my bad. i must have missed the memo. Most people dont see a war in gaza though, they see a one-sided annihilation of a people. I guess the israeli IDF is pretty good at killing people.

for the israeli's reading, i am not choosing my words carefully, apologies, but he is asking for this.

Saying otherwise is dishonest. That was pretty cheap framing on your part.

technically there was an invasion of gaza before 7/10 - when Israel kicked its non jews into the largest open air prison in the world, from 700000 people to 2100000 over the span of 5 years. continue with the personal attacks, neutral observers reading (and thats what this is, the court of public opinion) will see you personally attacking me and me responding with facts. you cannot expect to throw 2.1 million people into a tiny area, continue to mistreat your minorities and not expect something to go wrong, especially when you have spent years funding the terrorist organization housed within that area and controlling it.
