cricket flour is honestly really good. not sure why cricket protein isnt used more. it takes like 1/100th the space and resources to create the same protein beef or pork makes. and the factory farming industry is fucking disgusting. if you source locally grown grass fed pasture raised beef or pork good, dont pay the conversation about alternative proteins any mind. if u buy beef and pork at the grocery store you're just a coward who advocates animal cruelty that isnt brave enough to look your food in its eyes as the light leaves it.

I assume you're discussing synthetic beef. Is this complex protein, or something else?

What is "synthetic beef"?

Can't even respond to this without knowledge on that. Forget that you didn't source anything. Let's talk about synthetic beef first. :)

made out of fungai i believe, its what they want, to get rid of cows and dairy and replace it with insect proteins and other crazy shit
21st century version of soilent green

Gates is now the largest owner of farm land in the U.S and is heavily invested in the two major fake meat companies
this has all been planned for decades

First it made start off as vegetable based but quickly it will turn to fungai, insect proteins and other bulllshit they want us to eat

As you might imagine, we get asked this question a lot, “Why Bugs?” Whether you are looking for an alternative flour, clean protein, or looking into more sustainable ingredients then edible insects are a great option!

Crickets are a great source of protein, antioxidants, Omega-3s, Omega-6s, prebiotics, B12, and contain all the essential amino acids. Bugs like crickets use 20X less water, and use less feed and less land to create more protein…AMAZING!

Spent 5 minutes researching it, it's not a complex protein. It's considered a "complete protein" but so's peanut butter, and you're going to end up with severe deficiencies if peanut butter is your sole source.

I'm not familiar with this thing, but at a glance, it appears a good supplement, but not a replacement. On your fact-o-meter, is that mostly true, or something less? If less, let me know why.

Um... What? Are you saying that this form of alternative protein is based on... uh... A dystopian future where real protein isn't readily available or healthy to consume?

agreed entirely. im an advocate of incremental change, so supplementation is perfect. and im a MAJOR advocate of sustainable farming in pasture raised settings, i purchase local beef and pork, kill my own deer, and raise grass fed chickens which i butcher personally.
