personally i'm not sure what they're hoping to accomplish but this could very well be the end of drumpf :o

A Facebook event scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Dilworth Park asks attendees to "scream helplessly at the sky" in Philadelphia. The event description reads:


Let's have a primal scream for the current state of our democracy! Gather together after work at Philadelphia's City Hall, or just scream in solidarity from your own backyard.

The event is hosted by Philly UP (Philadelphia United for Progress), an organization that describes itself as a "grassroots, feminist, intersectional group of passionate Philadelphia progressives."

To be fair, screaming at the top your lungs can be cathartic :D It'd be frustrated by the current political climate if I was in the U.S. too.

But yeah, it's not really a public demonstration that's going to accomplish anything. If they're going to invite people, I think they should at least look to come up with something more concrete to rant about. It's not like there's a shortage of reasons.

Former student arraigned in Eastern Michigan graffiti case

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — A 29-year-old black former Eastern Michigan University student has been arraigned on charges stemming from anti-black graffiti found on the Ypsilanti campus last year.

The university says Eddie Curlin, who studied there from 2014 to early 2016, was arraigned Monday in Washtenaw County District Court on three counts of malicious destruction of property, four counts of identity theft and one count of using computers to commit a crime.

Graffiti was found painted on exterior building walls in September and October 2016 and a racist message was found in a men’s restroom stall last spring.

The incidents led to protests by students, and the university offered a $10,000 reward for information.

Curlin currently is serving 18 months to five years in prison for receiving stolen property in December 2015.

Educated college professors at it again. Growing up in a "white only" family, producing "white only" children, and wanting the best for them is promoting white privilege and makes you a racist.

This kind of garbage factored into why Trump was elected in 16' and has a significant chance to be reelected come 20' despite his overall ineffectiveness as Commander in Chief.
