Most likely. The idea though is never to actually use these weapons but the large missile stockpile of Hezbollah is supposed to act as a deterent to Israel, from striking Iranian targets, within Iran.

A nuclear strike on Lebanon by Israel would make very little sense anyway, considering the closeness.

I see
Hopefully it doesn't come to this.

Do you think there will be a large assault into Lebanon?

Perhaps to create some kind of buffer zone at the border.
Would this even be worth it? I imagine Hezbollah has range to strike Israel from beyond any buffer.

I understand many thousands have left the border region, which won't be sustainable.

We are ready for everything I built a bunker in my house bought 2 generator and I have enough fuel for a week or 2 if I turn it off at night.
I got my weapon license just in case I need it.
I got enough food and water for a month
As long as I care IDF can go and destroy southern Lebanon and if they will shoot towards civilian population centers I hope our leaders will have the balls to drop bombs on theirs heads in Beirut

Israeli delegation to Washington cancelled after the US failed to veto resolution for a ceasefire, which subsequently passed. Kind of a big deal because it shows Biden's admin isn't giving Israel carte blanche support. IMO this could have material support on US elections I think. Israeli lobby in US is really powerful and it's hard to see how they don't start to gravitate towards pro-Israel Trump in November.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has demanded an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages as the United States abstained from the vote.

The remaining 14 council members voted for the resolution on Monday.

The resolution calls for the truce to lead to a “lasting, sustainable ceasefire” and demands that Hamas free hostages seized in their October 7 attack of Israel.

...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said the US failure to veto the resolution is a “clear retreat” from its previous position, and would hurt war efforts against Hamas as well as efforts to release over 130 hostages.

His office also said Netanyahu will not be sending a high-level delegation to Washington in light of the new US position.

US President Joe Biden had requested to meet Israeli officials to discuss Israeli plans for a ground invasion of Rafah in southern Gaza, where more than 1 million internally displaced Palestinians are sheltering.

Still don't think this changes anything on the ground most likely but it's a pretty big geopolitical signal from the US. I really think it will have an effect in the elections, just another nick that will aid in Biden losing the election.

I think its non binding. So I am not sure. But the issue is too complex for me to even comment.
